[It's an... interesting thought, and Sorrow purses his lips for a moment.]
I can't see what use we'd have for them. They're tailored to kill us- they'd likely have little effect if reversed on the Null, and we lack the technology to reverse engineer and figure out how to protect ourselves from them.
You're aware that we're technically energy beings, correct?
[He tilts his head.]
Our forms here aren't physical. It's possible that these weapons could kill you as well, but likely for different reasons. As for the Null themselves... doubtful, though I don't know enough about them to be sure.
Have studied synthetic beings of various types. Some with organic components, as well as mostly mechanical. The more we know about what they are, the most possible it might be to figure out their weaknesses.
That's good to know. Even the smallest info can be helpful in figuring out how to do this, because it's obvious that you guys can't keep running forever.
It should be easier to accept after our close shave with the Null after Love came back.
Come to think of it... Can't help but wonder if that might have something to do with how they'd been able to track you guys. Seems strange that it'd take this long for them to have gotten that close. [That they know of.]
The latter. [She doesn't even want to entertain the notion of one of the gods turning on their own.] You guys are the last of your kind. Maybe they have some way of tracking you down. A unique identifier that makes it easier somehow.
They can locate us by our energy signature, but it's imprecise- not with the speed that they found us with when the city was split. It seems likely that there are other factors at play.
[And that's why she likes you, Sorrow -- you're one of the few she feels that will actually listen.]
That'd make sense. The signature bit, anyway. Why do you think there would be other factors, though? They could've gotten lucky... or just better at finding you.
I would agree. But feasibility is unfortunately a factor.
[Calm, as ever.]
Short of staging an assault that's doomed to fail, we cannot test your fighting capabilities against their forces. When the opportunity arises- maybe- but so far, there hasn't been one.
Back home we have these things called simulations. Sometimes they can be conducted through virtual reality, through a computer. But they can also be done through a staged exercise...
If you'd be willing, maybe some of you guys could somehow replicate a scenario based on your experience with your enemy. It'd give people a better chance at knowing what they are dealing with, and how to prepare.

How can a weapon that's tailored to kill a god not also be used to kill other things?

[But that fact clearly doesn't deter her.]

Was made for this. For the most part.

[Which is extremely useful, but he can't figure out how yet.]
I believe that Tranquility knows more about them than the rest of us. He worked with them more closely than we did.

[He agrees.]
Some of us want to, but- it's simply not feasible. Running was just to save us in the first place.

[He sighs.]
It's just a hard reality to accept.

[Curiously.]
Are you saying that one of us is complicit, or that our actions have attracted the Null to us?

It's... just a thought. Probably nothing.

[With a heavy heart, but an option all the same.]

[He grants.]
But unlikely. They haven't found us as rapidly since. And the size of our galaxy makes luck an extremely improbable factor.

[She'll take his word for it, since Rey doubts that Sorrow would give her much reason to doubt.]
It's more reason why we need better means to fight them off by ourselves. We got lucky that time. That sort of luck only lasts for so long.

You could consider it, at the very least.

[Though he understands what she's trying to say.]
But I'll consider it.
